A curious and creative mind…
T.L. Brechin grew up on a farm near the sea, with a free and adventurous childhood. From an early age, she would lose herself in magic and mystery.
A ride to the forest would have her dreaming of mythical creatures in the trees.
Creative and curious as a child, she would read until her eyes hurt. After raising children and having life’s standard adventures, Brechin started exploring new stories in worlds far beyond her own. Pentark is the first of these stories.

It took some effort to push through the worn oak door—I flinched at the creaking hinges, my boots echoing on the old wooden floor.
Confronted by walls of books, stacked column high, it was impossible to move any further into the room. It seemed other-worldly and I wrinkled my nose at the aging tomes.
